Landscapes - Constructed and Natural

The first assignment of second semester and I’m a little out of my depth. We had to present two landscape images; one constructed and one natural. I enjoyed shooting the constructed landscape photos, but struggled with natural. A lot of second guessing. Here’s a collection of images I ended up with after a couple of shoots. I submitted the first shot and the fifth. I am not entirely sure I selected the right ones. Self-doubt… it’s a curse.

First Semester Folio - Place

I have just submitted my final folio for first semester at PSC. The folio covered for different themes - people, place, found object and personal expression. Here is my collection for ‘place.’ Landscape photography is not my forte (as you will see) but I do love shooting architecture.

Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens

I am currently studying at the Photography Studies College. Part of the course involves a weekend workshop where you explore shooting light on location. We were lucky enough to shoot at the beautiful Botanic Gardens in the heart of Melbourne.
